Yepper. I was *this* close to hollering “NONE! There is NO cheese that goes with SALMON! There are VERY FEW CHEESES that go with ANY FISH AT ALL! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?” Good thing my order had been bagged and my change had been made, or else things might have got ugly. ;)

Well, if they’re going to ruin the salmon, then I hope someone tricks them into Velveeta.

The advice could have gone something like this:
“Salmon and Velveeta are excellent together, especially if you’re sampling fine wines. But don’t forget the importance of cleansing the palate between sips with a cracker or chip of some sort. I suggest Doritos.”

Seeing this on Random Scrine made me realize that a refresher course is always helpful. Once again, the answer is “none,” but we will allow extra credit for “none, you dead-palated gibbon.”
