is it just me, or does everybody get blobs of comments emailed to them all together in one thread regardless of that upon which they comment, lending yet a further layer of obfuscation to our endeavors?
It’s just you. I like licorice jelly beans!
e? WTH are you talking about?
Licorice jelly beans suck...lol
I do, but I assumed that that was a function of Gmail, rather than a quirk of Scrine. The same thing happens with the listmail groups to which I belong: everything that comes from one source (i.e. the listadmins, Keith, etc.) all gets sent to one thread.
That said, it *is* hot in here.
I don’t see how it could be any other way, unless I’m not understanding what’s going on. The comment notice itself should include the name of the original post, who commented, and a direct link to that thread.
A reminder for those who may read this and either have forgotten or didn’t know, but in the Scrine Control Panel, you can control which entries you subscribe to, so if you didn’t want to receive notices for a particular entry, you can unsubscribe to it. I thought that an unsubscribe link used to be included in the notification email, but it appears I removed it some time ago.
what’s going on is everybody suddenly has decided to get all strange about a three-year-old comment from the black lagoon otherwise known as Old Scrine. but i don’t even remember it, much less what it referred to at the time, and i can’t tell you why they are, they just are. we’re funny that way. :)
