Every decision in my life seems to come down to two choices: hurt now or hurt later.
Hmmmm. It’s been my experience that life is divided into equal thirds of “hurt now,” “hurt later” and “hurt when you least expect it.” Since the odds for hurt are pretty high, the decision comes down to “do whatever will give you the maximal amount of pleasure and resiliency to offset the hurt.”
Of course, one could argue that it’s this very mindset that gets a body hurt so often. This is about the point that I stop listening to good advices and turn on Flu Bird Horror instead. ;)
The Flu Bird Horror qualifying as hurt now.
I once had a student who was obsessed with the avian flu thinking it was going to kill us all. I really hope he isn’t responsible for that freakin’ movie.
If he is, I will personally fly back east, find him, turn him upside down until all of his SciFi Channel money falls out of his pockets, and take you to lunch in Paris on the proceeds.
Honey i think you would be lucky if enough money fell out of his pockets for him to buy me a loaf of french bread.
