My rules regarding giraffes in the house are simple: no running except in the hall, no kicking at the dog, no peering around doorways, and necks down in the dining room to avoid the chandelier.
Hah! You are magnificent. You and your giraffes.
I agree strongly about the peering.
I would add two:
No staring down the womens’ shirts.
Always poop in the toilet.
No chasing the mailman, but of course, that’s an outside rule.
However, they are more than welcome to clean out the gutters.
No sneezing. None.
The giraffe chore: dusting those hard to reach places.
No standing very still in the dappled sunlight only to suddenly MOVE! and scare someone.
Always lift the seat when drinking at the watering hole.
