As I read this sentence, we are are also watching an episode of Home Movies on DVD, in which Brendon and Melissa are in a pet store; at one point Melissa picks up and pets a ferret, and Brendon says, “Ferrets are great because if you lose something in a tube, a ferret can find it for you.” So they’ve got that going for them, at least. But yeah, the walk is a little spooky. :)

Are we absolutely sure that ferrets aren’t some sort of Slinky transformer robots? Their quick movements suggests, at least to me, some sort of advanced, fuel-cell powered metallurgy. Perhaps more research is needed.

At times, I believe my slinky little monster is in the process of taking over my home..He beats up the dog and sleeps where he chooses. He has succeeded in setting a schedule for me to wake and do his bidding.
Perhaps, they are not metallurgies, but strange looking members of another civilization…
