The lonely chill was similar to something Fender had felt as a child, the day he realized that Cracker Jack had no real incentive to put good toys in their gold and red boxes anymore.

Not all hope is lost, my good Fender.  Only the other day I found a Bazooka Joe cartoon blowing across an empty parking lot.  Remembrances, I was reminded, are nearly always better than the original product.
