Doris Memorial and Support Our Friend Jo Spanglemonkey Day - September 29, 2006 << home >> chocolate
Apparantly, the secret agents who routinely bug my car feel I was too lenient on my kid for failing to tell me about a trip to the principal’s office, because on the dust of my hood this morning was this message: “You shoulda grounded her.”
Your daughter? The principal’s office? This I’m not buying. It must have been one of her friends’ fault and she took the fall for them.
My daughter, on the other hand gets grounded on principle on a regular basis. When she complains, “What did I *do*?” I point out that I have no idea, but the fact I have no idea makes the grounding even more deserved.
