Hara-kiri is the only honorable path at this point.
Sorry, Counselor. Back in Black may have been released in 1980 (which is why “You Shook Me All Night Long” is on the acceptable edge of 80’sness), but Dirty Deeds was much earlier—late 1976, if the All Music Guide writeup is correct. It definitely precedes Back in Black, which was written as a tribute to Bon Scott, the original AC/DC vocalist, who was the vocalist on Dirty Deeds, and who died in February 1980.
Are you sure that there are no other honorable paths? ;)
Damn iTunes said 1981 on the Dirty Deeds album. But you (of course) are correct. Never trust a Mac/Apple product or user.
I guess I’m half wrong and half right then. So the only honorable path is for us to meet at a pub, drink several Guinesses and sing a bawdy duet of “You Shook Me All Night Long.”
There is no part of that last sentence that I did not like. ;)
As a Mac user, I take offense to not being invited along for the beers.
Well, of course you can come along. We’ll drink several Guinnesses, we’ll forget about all that unpleasant Mac/PC business, we’ll recruit a fourth to join us on stage for the barbershop quartet version of “You Shook Me All Night Long.”
Does a part-time mac user count*? I bloody hope so. I’m sure I’d work out well in an accadacca quartet.
* eg. when I have a choice, it’s a mac.
