it was you i was thinking of when i posted this, my friend, and all your fellows down there.  for some reason, this tradition is virtually unknown even in our own country, muchless anywhere else.  and yet there they are, in their exquisite handmade finery, year after year, and there they will remain, come hell and high water. i think the slide show has some 1200 pics, and counting...enjoy!
