Once we flush that deuce we currentl have in the Oval Office down the crapper despotism may go out of style. As for Charisma, The Deuce himself doesn’t have any real charisma (unless you like smug giddiness) and he is style a grand despot.
Don’t sell yourself short. You may actually be a great despot and not even know it!

Perhaps you’re right. I have a long history of selling my talent short. After all, it’s not as though I need to be the next Pol Pot. At least not immediately. I can work up to it over the course of time, honing my despotism into something truly special. Noteworthy, even. Yes. Indeed *rubs hands together*.
