Thanks in large part to the generosity of Boot, who has donated countless hours to the task of cutting and pasting and posting in the name of others, all of the sentences from the old Scrine site are finding their way over to the new site.  My guess is that we are about halfway finished, or maybe just a tad more.

If I’d had my brain screwed in better, and I hadn’t been in such a hurry to launch this site, I would have been able to transfer not only the sentences, but the comment threads as well.  What can I say?  Hindsight is so perfect, isn’t it?

So the sentences will make it, but I’m afraid the comments will be left behind.  Sad, but true.  What I like to do is imagine that we’ll have something even better to say about all the great sentences the second time we see them come around in the Random Scrine area.
