You can easily change the look and feel of your Control Panel by choosing a new Control Panel theme.

1. While in the Control Panel, click on the My Account tab.
2. Click on Customize Control Panel
3. Click Control Panel Theme
4. To the right, choose a new theme from the drop-down list, then click Update

Any changes you make will be visible only to you.

Hi Keith, thanks for that.  After all those sentence move-overs I was heartily sick of the blue theme.  The purple one isn’t too shabby.

I’m going to come up with a new theme or two when time allows.  Maybe one to match this “subdued” theme, which is very soothing on my Powerbook.  Not quite as nice looking on my Windows machine running IE, however.  But acceptable.
