Actually, now that it’s gone, I kinda miss it.  And I hate having to do actual work instead of playing with chat all day. 

Did you have to bring up pizza and beer.  It feels decidedly Fridayish and yet there’s hours to go before Beer O’clock on Thursday.  (sigh)

I’ll be Frank.  I don’t miss it very much.  It’s nice and its certainly got widgets and buttons to push, but it’s just pointing out to me how often I’m a lone Scriner.  Like right now, for example. It’s just sitting there looking all widgety at me.

I know I’m often on Scrine alone, but I’m nestled in the company of all those friendly sentences.

No, I’m quite strong on this now (I need to re-cast my vote!).  It’s inutterably distracting.  I need my home-Scrine to be chatty free.

Also, I’m going to ban chat-box at work (for myself) as there is a guy in our IT group who is already quite psycho about checking other people’s website visited logs.  How many times did I hit submit on that chatbox today?!

When it appears on the home page, I feel it detracts from the main purpose of scrine. 

I like the idea of chat being available, but I really don’t like the idea of it being on the home page - it’s too much of a distraction.

Anyway, I’ve been infected by computer nerds over the last 10 years or so - so my view points could be a little anal.

Keith, maybe that’s part of the problem.  Does chatty box widget thingo show you as ‘online’ even if you have selected ‘do not show me as online’?
