So, what is Scrinecast?  Enlighten me.

It’s a live streaming music show that I (usually) play when I’m sitting here at my desk.  Scrine members can tune in using their computer’s music player.

The music variety varies greatly, and the library grows all the time.

Kinda like listening to Yahoo’s LAUNCHcast while I’m at work?

Probably, only with Scrinecast, it’s interactive.  Need to hear something, you just let me know and if I have it, it plays.

I play requests all day for a couple of regulars.

I bet you have some music that would be a great addition to the Scrinecast library.

I have some...strange music, but nothing as great as the FCC song.

Well, no I don’t mean just odd stuff for the April Fool’s Day show, but regular, good music.

Define “good.”

Now you know that’s an impossible thing to ask of me.

The music library, incidentally, includes both good and non-good music, even if I can’t tell you which is which.

I guess it is a matter of opinion.  My computer has A TON of movie sound clips, but I don’t know if they count as “music.”

I’m not sure they count as music either, but I’d sure like to get a hold of them sometime.  Do you mean sound effects, or bits of good dialogue?  Or both?

A lot of it is dialogue, but there may be some sound effects… I’ll have to listen to them again just to be sure.  My Star Wars clips might have some blaster sound effects.  It’s been a long while since I last listened to them, despite the fact that they’re all sitting in my iPod mini.

Maybe next time we see each other I can get some of them.  I think I’m finding enough fun stuff to put together tomorrow’s show.  Now I just need to find some time to put it all together.

This means I’ll actually have to start bringing my laptop to the meetings.  But I can do that.
